Film: In a remote village in Xinjiang, a lonely Kazakh boy finds comfort in plants until a spirited Han girl enters his life, blurring the line between reality and a dreamlike world of botany.

Panel talk moderated by Hui-Hui Pan, founder of Pan Asian Collective and advocate for Asian representation. Alongside Dina Ziad-Westmaas, founder and artistic director of OP& and SOUK Utrecht Festival, who uses the power of imagery to question inequality, and Haider Timur, Amsterdam-based designer and visual artist from Kazakhstan, whose work weaves Central Asian and Persian poetry and folk myths into melancholic dreamscapes of beauty and transformation.
